Pooja Kiven AA
Pooja Kiven Aa is a 2013 Punjabi comedy directed by Nidhi Sharma and produced by Romi Tahli. It stars Miss Pooja, Tarun Khanna, and Sahil Vedoliyaa, with supporting cast including B.N. Sharma, Manoj Joshi, Sardar Sohi, and Anshu Sawhney.
The story follows Pooja, a non-resident Indian from the UK who visits Mumbai to sell her large bungalow. In Mumbai, Bhinder, Deep, and Jeet come looking for work and are hired as cooks, trainers, and cleaners. They all fall for Pooja, though Jeet and Bhinder later lose interest in each other. Pooja’s uncle tries to cheat her out of the property.
Filming took place from October 22 to November 23, 2012, mainly in Chandigarh, Goa, and Mumbai, using an Arriflex digital camera. The budget was ₹40 million (about US$470,000). The music, composed by Sachin Ahuja, features eight tracks sung by Miss Pooja, Mika Singh, Jelly, Rickie Rix, and Master Saleem. Publicity work involved photographer Feroz Khan and Manjot.
The film released on 22 March 2013 but received poor reviews. Punjabi Media called it “the definition of chaos,” though some outlets praised the performances of Tarun Khanna and Sahil Vedoliyaa, while criticizing the plot and screenplay.
