Rosa Nachmanson
Rosa Nachmanson, born Rosalie Davidson on 20 March 1852, was a Swedish philanthropist and charity worker. Her father, Wilhelm Davidson, opened the Hasselbacken restaurant in Stockholm in the mid-1800s. Rosa spent her life helping others and made her home a gathering place for artists. When she died on 9 November 1916, she left about 3.5 million SEK. Half of the money went to people close to her, and the rest funded health care charities. She was one of the biggest donors to the construction of the Stockholm Concert Hall through her will.
