Saxatilia brasiliensis
Saxatilia brasiliensis is a small cichlid fish native to Brazil. It lives in the states of Ceará, Paraíba, Rio Grande do Norte and Pernambuco. The fish grows up to about 7.8 cm (3.1 in) long. It belongs to the family Cichlidae and the genus Saxatilia. The binomial name is Saxatilia brasiliensis, and it was first described by Bloch in 1792. Synonyms include Crenicichla brasiliensis, Crenicichla menezesi, Perca brasiliensis, and Sparus nhoquunda. Conservation status: Least Concern (IUCN 3.1).
