Richard Shoberg (also credited as Dick Shoberg), born March 1, 1950, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, is an American actor and writer. He began his soap opera career as Mitch Farmer on Somerset (1971–1972) and then played Kevin Jameson #1 on The Edge of Night (1972–1975). He is married with two children and lives in New York. His best-known role is Tom Cudahy, a former football player turned restaurateur, on All My Children, from July 1977 to April 1995, with some appearances in 2004–2005. He played Inspector Ascher in the off-Broadway show Perfect Crime for more than ten years, until 2019.
