The Resolution Tour was a concert run by American heavy metal band Lamb of God to promote their seventh studio album, Resolution, released in January 2012. The tour began on January 22, 2012, in Richmond, Virginia, and ran until January 25, 2014, with 174 shows in total: 105 in North America, 46 in Europe, 13 in Oceania, 11 in Asia, 6 in South America, and 2 in Africa.

The band played across North America, Asia, Europe, and Oceania, including a slot at the Soundwave Festival in Australia, with Latin American dates. In May 2012 they also performed in India and Israel before a European leg.

On June 28, 2012, vocalist Randy Blythe was arrested in Prague on manslaughter charges linked to an incident at a 2010 show in Prague. The Prague concert and other festival appearances were canceled. Blythe was initially remanded in custody with a bail set at CZK 4,000,000 (about US$200,000). On July 17, 2012, the bail was increased to CZK 8,000,000 (about US$400,000). On July 26, 2012, the band canceled its upcoming U.S. tour with Dethklok and Gojira due to Blythe’s incarceration. Blythe was released on August 2, 2012, and the U.S. tour was rebooked to begin on October 30, 2012. Knotfest appearances were reinstated following his release.

A 38-date U.S. tour was announced for October 30, 2012, with In Flames as the main support, followed by Hatebreed (October 30–November 19), Hellyeah (November 20–December 16), and British band Sylosis opening on all dates. During the tour, bassist John Campbell had to miss the November 11, 2013 show in Kent due to a family emergency; he rejoined the band in 2014, with Fear Factory’s Matt DeVries filling in temporarily.

In 2014, guitarist Mark Morton also had to take time off due to a family emergency, with Paul Waggoner of Between the Buried and Me filling in.
