Bojana Božanić
Bojana Božanić (Serbian Cyrillic: Бојана Божанић) was born on 11 November 1981 in Užice, Serbia. She is a politician and administrator. She studied English at the University of Belgrade, graduating in 2006.
Bojanić has been active in Čajetina local politics and in national politics. She served in the National Assembly of Serbia from 2012 to 2014 as a member of the Democratic Party of Serbia (DSS). She later helped form the Serbian People’s Party (SNP) after a split in 2014. In 2016 she became director of Gold Gondola Zlatibor, a public company in Zlatibor, and has held that role since.
In Čajetina, she was elected to the local assembly several times. She joined the Healthy Serbia (ZS) party in 2017 and became one of its inaugural vice-presidents. In 2020 she again won a seat in Čajetina’s local government and was appointed director of Gold Gondola Zlatibor on 1 October 2020. She has also served as president of Čajetina’s council for gender equality.
Božanić has run for national office with different alliances, but has not won a national seat in the 2014, 2020, or 2022 elections. She is running for re-election to the Čajetina municipal assembly in 2024, placed fourth on Healthy Serbia’s local list.
