Red Bank is an unincorporated community on the west edge of Evansville, Indiana, in Perry Township, Vanderburgh County. It's bordered to the south by Broadway Avenue and Middle Mount Vernon Road, and to the east by Carpentier Creek. Most homes are clustered around the Bosse and Claremont areas. The neighborhood has several shopping centers with a variety of restaurants and shops, including two supermarkets and a large Wal-Mart. Red Bank Road is one of the main streets in the area and is rumored to be Evansville’s oldest road. The Lloyd Expressway runs just north of Red Bank, providing easy access to Indiana State Road 62. Nearby Mud Center is technically a separate community, but locals often think of Mud Center as part of Red Bank.
