Ranoidea callista is a tree frog in the Pelodryadinae subfamily, found only in Papua New Guinea. It has been observed on Mount Trafalgar at about 220 meters above sea level. The species was described by Fred Kraus in 2013 and was placed in the same group as Litoria gracilenta, though it differs in color, its call, and that it lays eggs in streams. Its synonyms include Litoria callista Kraus, 2013 and Dryopsophus callista Kraus, 2013. It is listed as Least Concern by the IUCN (IUCN 3.1). It may also occur in other parts of New Guinea and possibly Australia, though more information is needed.
