Rahmatabad District (Rigan County)
Rahmatabad District (Persian: بخش رحمتآباد) is a district in Rigan County, Kerman Province, Iran. Its capital is the city of Rahmatabad. In 2016, the city of Rahmatabad had 5,055 residents in 1,307 households. After the 2006 census, Rigan District was separated from Bam County to form Rigan County, which was divided into two districts with two rural districts each; Mohammadabad was the capital and only city at that time. In 2019, Rahmatabad village was upgraded to city status. In 2023, Gavkan Rural District was separated from the Central District to form Rahmatabad District.
