Must Be Doin' Somethin' Right is a country song by Billy Currington from his 2005 album Doin' Somethin' Right. It was written by Marty Dodson and Patrick Jason Matthews and released on May 16, 2005 as the album's first single. The song is a love ballad in A major with a main chord pattern of F#m-D-A in the verses, and the narrator says he "must be doin' somethin' right" in his relationship. It was produced by Carson Chamberlain and Billy Currington and released by Mercury Nashville. This marked Currington's first number-one hit on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, reaching the top spot on December 31, 2005 after debuting at number 60 on June 11, 2005. The album version runs 4:29, with a radio version of 3:59. By January 2016, it had sold about 1.28 million copies in the U.S. AllMusic’s Stephen Thomas Erlewine described the song as having a mellow, relaxed Californian vibe.
