Pimperna is a village and rural commune in southern Mali. It is in the Sikasso Cercle of the Sikasso Region. The commune covers 161 square kilometers (62 square miles) and includes 10 villages. In 2009, 11,329 people lived there, with a population density of about 70 people per square kilometer. The administrative center is the village of Pimperna, located about 16 kilometers northwest of Sikasso on the RN11 road between Sikasso and Koutiala. Time zone: UTC+0.
