Piero Codia (born 22 October 1989 in Trieste) is an Italian swimmer who specializes in butterfly. He is 1.90 m tall and weighs 80 kg. He holds Italy's long‑course records in the 50 m and 100 m butterfly. He qualified for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics in the 100 m butterfly, advancing to the semifinals where he finished 11th. Codia has won medals at major championships, including a 4×100 m medley relay medal at the 2022 World Championships in Budapest and a 100 m butterfly medal at the 2018 European Championships in Glasgow. He has also earned medals in European short‑course championships and competed in relay events at other European championships.
