Perigea xanthioides, also known as the red groundling moth or pied groundling moth, is a moth in the Noctuidae family. It was first described by Achille Guenée in 1852. This species is found from Canada to Brazil and also in Jamaica. The wingspan is about 29 mm. The larvae feed on plants in the Vernonia and Eutrochium genera. It has been named in the past as Hadena trita and Perigea xanthioides enixa.
