Penelope Lagos is an American actress, model, and author who has been active since 2007. She is best known for playing Mabel Normand in the short film Madcap Mabel. In 2017 she released her first book for children, I Miss My Best Friend. Lagos studied at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, New Jersey, where she earned a BA in Communication and Information Studies and Theater Arts; she lives in New Jersey.

Her career began with the short film Hit N'Run in 2007. She later appeared in the web series WildFlower as Detective Nadia Williams, and in Madcap Mabel (2010). In 2011 she acted in Meanwhile and Stuck in the Middle, with her role in Stuck earning Best Actress at the Downbeach Film Festival. She starred in the feature-length comedy The Jersey Devil, which premiered at The Landmark Lowes Theater in Jersey City. She had a supporting role in Ned Rifle, an official selection at the Toronto Film Festival in 2014. In October 2017, Lagos published her debut children's book, I Miss My Best Friend.
