Parliamentary constituencies in Humberside

Parliamentary constituencies in the area formerly known as Humberside have changed a few times since 1996. Humberside was abolished as a county in 1996, and four unitary authorities were created: East Riding of Yorkshire, Kingston upon Hull, North Lincolnshire, and North East Lincolnshire. The constituency boundaries used for the 2005 general election were based on the old county.

For the 2010 general election, the Boundary Commission treated these four authorities as a single area for Westminster constituencies, keeping 10 seats but realigning some boundaries to match local wards.

In the 2023 review, the Boundary Commission grouped the former Humberside area with South Yorkshire as a sub-region of Yorkshire and the Humber. This produced a cross-county seat called Doncaster East and the Isle of Axholme, which includes part of the old Brigg and Goole constituency. Seven existing constituencies were abolished and replaced by six new seats entirely within the area: Bridlington and The Wolds; Brigg and Immingham; Goole and Pocklington; Great Grimsby and Cleethorpes; Kingston upon Hull North; Cottingham and Kingston upon Hull West and Haltemprice.
