Pam Ward is an American sports broadcaster known for play-by-play. She announced for the WNBA and covered ESPN's 2012 and 2013 Women's College World Series of Softball. She earned a degree in communications from the University of Maryland. Earlier, she worked as an anchor/host for WTEM (1992–1995) and WBAL (1995–1996). In 2000, she became the first woman to call play-by-play for a nationally televised NCAA football game. She retired in 2025 after nearly 30 years with ESPN, which released a tribute video highlighting her work in college football, basketball, softball, and the WNBA.
