Pakistan toured England in 1996 from 27 June to 1 September. They played a three-match Test series and a three-match ODI series.

Test series: Pakistan won 2–0 with one draw. Captains were Wasim Akram (Pakistan) and Mike Atherton (England). The top run-scorers were Saeed Anwar for Pakistan (362 runs) and Alec Stewart for England (396 runs). The leading wicket-takers were Mushtaq Ahmed (Pakistan) with 17 and Dominic Cork (England) with 12. Players of the series were Mushtaq Ahmed (Pakistan) and Alec Stewart (England).
