Päevaleht was an Estonian daily newspaper published from 1905 to 1940. The first issue appeared on 16 December 1905 in Tallinn. In 1924 it moved to a new building. After the Soviet occupation in 1940, Päevaleht was replaced by Noorte Hääl, which ran from 1940–1941 and again from 1944–1990. The last regular issue of Päevaleht was published on 26 July 1940. During the German occupation in World War II, there was an attempt to revive Päevaleht, but only one issue appeared on 29 August 1941. On 1 February 1990, Noorte Hääl became Päevaleht again. The newspaper has been digitized by the National Library of Estonia.
