Orthodera rubrocoxata is a species of praying mantis native to Australia. It belongs to the mantis family Mantidae. The species was named Orthodera rubrocoxata by Serville in 1839. It has also been described under the names Orthodera hobsoni and Orthodera laticollis. Like other mantises, it is a predatory insect that hunts small prey.
