Oniel Cousins
Oniel Theodore Cousins (born June 29, 1984) is a Jamaican-born former professional American football guard. He played college football at Texas–El Paso (UTEP) and was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round of the 2008 NFL Draft (99th overall). He spent the early part of his career in Baltimore as a backup, starting when injuries hit the lineup.
In August 2011, the Ravens waived him and he was claimed by the Cleveland Browns, where he started one game in 2011, did not start in 2012, and started as the right guard on opening day in 2013. He started four games that season.
Cousins signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on March 16, 2014, on a one-year contract. That season, Tampa Bay's offensive line allowed a league-high number of sacks. He became a free agent after the 2014 season.
Overall, Cousins appeared in 75 NFL games, with 16 starts. He attended Eastside Christian High School in Fullerton, California, and earned first-team All-Conference USA honors in 2007 at UTEP.
