Omar Almeida Quintana (born October 28, 1981) is a Cuban chess Grandmaster who earned the title in 2006. His peak FIDE rating is 2593, reached in November 2010, and as of February 2026 his rating is 2461. In 2010, he tied for first place with Azer Mirzoev at the XVIII Torneo Internacional in Albacete. He was the sixth-ranked Cuban chess player as of May 2020.
