PS Duchess of Albany was a passenger vessel built in 1889 for a joint venture of the London and South Western Railway and the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway to carry passengers to the Isle of Wight. Built by Scotts of Greenock (yard number 271) and launched on 7 November 1889, it was named after Princess Helen of Waldeck and Pyrmont. The ship measured 256 gross register tons, was 170.4 feet long and 22.1 feet wide. It also ran excursion trips, such as a 28 June 1890 trip from Portsmouth and Southsea to Bournemouth for 2s 6d. In 1923 the Duchess of Albany became part of the Southern Railway, and it was scrapped in 1928.
