Olivia Niamh Bell (born 12 November 2003) is a Scottish cricketer who was born in Stockport, England. She is a right‑arm off‑spin bowler who plays for Scotland’s women’s national team and also plays domestic cricket for North West Thunder.

Early life and domestic beginnings
Bell started her cricket in Cheshire’s youth teams from 2017 to 2022. In 2022 she joined the North West Thunder Academy for the first time and was named in the academy again in 2023. She also played for Scotland A in 2023, appearing in the Twenty20 Cup and taking several wickets, including 2/15 against Derbyshire.

Professional club career
Bell made her senior debut for North West Thunder on May 31, 2023, in the Charlotte Edwards Cup. She quickly became a key bowler for the team, finishing as Thunder’s leading wicket‑taker in both the Charlotte Edwards Cup (11 wickets at a strong average) and the Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy (14 wickets in four matches) during 2023. She played one match for Thunder in 2024.

International career
Bell played for Scotland Under‑19s in 2022 in the Europe Qualifier for the 2023 ICC Under‑19 Women’s T20 World Cup, taking 3/10 in her first match against the Netherlands. She was named in Scotland’s squad for a series against Ireland in 2022, and later played in the 2022 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup Qualifier. Bell made her Women’s Twenty20 International debut on 23 September 2023 against the United Arab Emirates, opening the bowling and taking 1/16. She also played in the 2023 ICC Under‑19 Women’s T20 World Cup for Scotland, appearing in all four matches and taking one wicket. Bell’s One Day International debut came on 17 October 2023 against Ireland. In September 2024, she was named in Scotland’s squad for the 2024 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.
