It specialized in enhancing Salesforce and letting customers build their own apps through a simple online interface. Its main product, the Nsite platform, was subscription-based and included modules for quote-to-proposal management, order management, and a custom development platform with an AJAX front end and an MS-SQL backend.
Key people included founder Paul Tabet; Alf Goebel, CEO from 2002 to 2004; and Bob Jandro, CEO from 2004 to 2005, along with Kelly Nicholas, Ryan Nagahori, Robert Brown, Jin Huang, and Colin Burns.
In November 2006, SAP Business Objects acquired Nsite and the company reportedly had over 27,000 customers worldwide. After the acquisition, Nsite continued as part of SAP Business Objects but later faded and was retired in 2010. Revenue and headcount were listed as zero in 2009/2008 figures.
