Nocturne: The Piano Album
Nocturne: The Piano Album is a studio album by Greek composer Vangelis, released January 25, 2019 on Decca Records. It is a solo piano collection with 11 new pieces plus new versions of some of his past works, all written and arranged by Vangelis. The music has a night-time theme and was linked to a moon-photo project on the album’s website. The first single is "Nocturnal Promenade." Note that the track "Longing" is not based on the Blade Runner song with the same name. Recorded in 2018, the album runs 75 minutes 59 seconds and was produced by Vangelis.
