Kasal is a 2018 Filipino romance drama directed by Ruel S. Bayani, with a screenplay by Patrick John R. Valencia based on a story by Kriz G. Gazmen. It stars Bea Alonzo as Lia Marquez, Derek Ramsay as Wado dela Costa, and Paulo Avelino as Philip Cordero. Produced by ABS-CBN Film Productions for Star Cinema, the film was released on May 16, 2018, and runs 115 minutes. The story follows Lia, a public school teacher who plans to marry Cebu’s most eligible mayoral candidate, only to be drawn back into life with her ex when he reappears, forcing her to choose between a secure future and unresolved feelings. The theme song is Tagpuan, performed by Moira Dela Torre.
