Nightwork Films is a Dutch film production team made up of students studying International Media & Entertainment Management at NHTV University of Applied Sciences in Breda.

The group officially formed on 21 October 2011. The name comes from starting in the middle of the night, and they still pull all-nighters to finish projects.

They joined the Entertainment Experience, a Dutch filmmaking competition led by Paul Verhoeven, with the goal of creating the first user-generated movie. The project pairs a user-generated film with a film directed by Verhoeven. The eight-part script starts with Part 1 written by Kim van Kooten, and the remaining seven parts are written by the competition crowd. Verhoeven and the student crews create their films based on these scripts, and the process is shown on the Dutch TV channel Veronica.

The project launched on 21 September 2011 and runs until May 2012. Nightwork Films was the first team to enter and uploaded an entry two weeks before the first deadline. A successful marketing campaign helped them win Part 1 with 1,182 votes, and their entry will be used in the user-generated movie, which premieres on 28 May 2012.

In October 2011 Nightwork Films began a new project, the short film Flawed, which they submitted to the Cannes Film Festival in March 2012. For this project, three new members joined: Director of Photography Alessandra Scalora, Story developer and production assistant Boudewijn Arbouw, and Public Relations manager and production assistant Josephien Jansen.

All team members are students in the International Media & Entertainment Management bachelor program at NHTV Breda.
