Night Shift (band)
Night Shift is a Serbian hard rock band from Belgrade, formed in 1991 by Milan and Danijel Šćepanović together with Marko Dacić. They started performing across FR Yugoslavia in 1993 and built a large live following, reportedly playing over 1,500 shows by the end of their early years. Their debut album, Undercovers (2002) on PGP-RTS, is a covers record with guest vocalists and several music videos. They also contributed to a Milan Mladenović tribute and kept touring heavily.
In 2004 they released No Ordinary DVD, a Belgrade show recorded in surround sound, and played Beovizija, winning Band of the Year and Album of the Year 2003 awards. Bassist Marko Dacić left in 2007 and was replaced by Branislav Vukobratović. The second album, Bez zaklona (No Cover), was completed in January 2009 and released on 13 October 2009 by Multimedia Records. It has nine tracks, including a new version of "Daj mi snage," with guests Marko Dacić, Teodora Bojović, and the Intermezzo string quartet. The single "Snovi" became a radio hit, and in 2010 Night Shift opened for Guns N’ Roses at Belgrade Arena. In 2011 they released two videos for "Nikada." Night Shift continues to perform and record.
