Nguyễn Phi Hùng
Nguyễn Văn Phi Hùng (born 24 June 1977) is a Vietnamese singer and doctor. He started studying dance at 12 and specialized in ballet, earning a scholarship to help his family. He graduated from the Vietnam Dance School in 1996 and worked at the Central Light Music and Dance Ensemble. In 1998, he was recruited to join the 30/10 Ballet Troupe in Ho Chi Minh City. From 2000, he shifted to music with support from People's Artist Thái Đạt Minh. During a dance-teaching session at the New Talent Center, he joined a karaoke gathering where Thủy Nguyễn, who would become his manager, recognized his talent. He joined the New Talent entertainment company and held three solo live shows between 2000 and 2002. He gained public attention after performing songs such as Tình đơn côi, Mưa tuyệt vọng, Vắng cha, and Dáng em. He won the title of "Promising Actor" at the Golden Kite Awards.
