Ndengereko language

Ndengereko, also called Kindengereko, is a Bantu language spoken in Tanzania along the central coast in the Pwani Region. It is spoken by the Wandengereko people (the Ndengereko). About 72,000 people spoke it in 2013. Ndengereko is part of the Niger-Congo language family, within the Bantu branch, in the Rufiji–Ruvuma and Matumbi groups. It is spoken near Kibiti, the Matumbi hills, and close to Mchukivi and Bungu, near the Warufiji River.
