Naughty Boy (video game)
Naughty Boy is a 1982 maze arcade game by Jaleco. It released in Japan in March 1982 and in North America in May 1982, with Cinematronics handling the North American release. It was Jaleco’s first game developed in-house. A Casio PV-1000 home version came out in 1983. In June 2020, Hamster Corporation released it as part of Arcade Archives for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4. In the game you control a young boy who travels through different castles filled with monsters, using stones to defeat enemies and break obstacles. The main goal is to defeat flaming ghosts on top of each castle, which sets the castle on fire. Bonus levels let you throw objects to stun an indestructible monster and earn extra points. The game features single-player and multiplayer modes and was available on arcade cabinets and the PV-1000.
