N'Zi Region

N'Zi Region is one of Ivory Coast's 31 regions, located in Lacs District. Its regional seat is Dimbokro. The region covers 4,710 square kilometers and had a population of 254,623 in 2021 (about 54 people per square kilometer). It uses the GMT (UTC+0) time zone. N'Zi is the only region in the country that does not border another district; it is entirely surrounded by other parts of Lacs District. The region is divided into three departments: Bocanda, Dimbokro, and Kouassi-Kouassikro. N'Zi Region was established in 2011. In 2012, Moronou Region was created from parts of N'Zi, with Arrah, Bongouanou, and M'Batto joining Moronou.
