King and Emperor
King and Emperor is the third and last book in the Hammer and the Cross series by Harry Harrison. It was published in 1996 by Tor Books, following One King's Way (1994). In this alternate-history tale, Shef becomes the King of the North and tries to learn about manned flight and Greek fire, while his enemy Bruno, now emperor, searches for the Holy Grail.
