Moreeb Dune
Moreeb Dune, also known as Tal Moreeb or Mor'ib Hill, is a huge desert dune near Liwa Oasis in the United Arab Emirates. It rises about 300 meters high, has a very steep 50-degree slope, and is about 1.6 kilometers long. It is the tallest dune in the UAE and one of the world’s biggest dune climbs. The dune is famous for the Liwa Moreeb Dune Festival and for drag racing. It sits about 25 kilometers south of Liwa Oasis and roughly 250 kilometers from Abu Dhabi.
