Mohammed Sajid (politician)
Mohammed Sajid, born November 9, 1948, in Settat, Morocco, is a Moroccan businessman and politician from the Constitutional Union party. He was the Mayor of Casablanca from 2003 to 2015. Since 2015, he has been the General Secretary of the Constitutional Union and a deputy for the Taroudant-Chamalia constituency. He served as Minister of Tourism, Air Transport, Crafts and Social Economy from April 5, 2017, to October 9, 2019. His brother El-Mostafa Sajid is the president of the Moroccan Association of Textile and Clothing Industries (AMITH). He comes from Berber roots in Taroudant.
