Beirut Rose
Beirut Rose
The Beirut Rose, also known as Meideauri or Rose de Beyrouth in French, was developed by the French company Meilland International SA and unveiled at the ninth Garden Show & Spring Festival at the Beirut Hippodrome in Lebanon. Meilland says the pink rose is a tribute to Beirut’s resilience, and its six-month blooming season symbolizes the city’s persistence through hardship. The rose will be planted in the garden of Martyr’s Square in Beirut and across Lebanon. It is sold worldwide through Meilland’s catalogue and at Robinson Agri, the company’s agent in Lebanon.
