Milkor 380

The Milkor 380 is a South African MALE unmanned aircraft built by Milkor. It is designed to be fully South African, with all components made in-house. It is in service with the South African Air Force. Its first flight was on September 19, 2023, after introduction in February 2021. The aircraft can fly over 2,000 kilometers and has five hardpoints for weapons or reconnaissance gear, suitable for border surveillance, maritime patrols, and combat missions. The MA80 demonstrator flew in 2017. Early prototypes used a composite lay-up process, but production later moved to vacuum infusion resin manufacturing.
