Military ranks of Spain

Spain’s armed forces use rank insignia to show a service member’s level. There are two main groups: commissioned officers and non-commissioned/enlisted personnel. Commissioned officers range from junior officers to generals, while non-commissioned and enlisted personnel include soldiers and the various NCO ranks who day-to-day lead and support units. Each rank has its own insignia worn on the uniform.
