Micro-Mousterian

Micro-Mousterian, also called Micromousterian, refers to a very small-tool form of the Mousterian stone tool industry. The name was given by Alfred Rust and Henri Fleisch. It was found in level five at Ksar Akil in Lebanon and has also been found in Montenegro, Italy, France, Africa and Syria. It is similar to another small Mousterian group called the Pontinian.
