Michigan's 19th congressional district
Michigan’s 19th congressional district was a former U.S. House district in Michigan. It existed from 1965 to 1983. The district was created for the 1965 term (elected in 1964) and eliminated after the 1980 census redistricting. The first representative was Billie S. Farnum; the last was William Broomfield, who was later elected to Michigan’s 18th district after the 19th was dissolved. The district’s approximate location was around 42.75°N, 83.38°W.
