Michael Booth (cricketer)
Michael Gary Booth (born 12 February 2001) is a Zimbabwean-born South African cricketer. He bats right-handed and bowls right-arm fast-medium.
Booth was born in Harare, Zimbabwe, and grew up there before moving to South Africa. He attended St. John’s Preparatory School in Harare, then Hilton College in South Africa, and later studied at Durham University.
Domestic career
- Teams: KwaZulu-Natal Inland (2019/20) and Warwickshire (2023–present, squad number 27).
- Debuts: Twenty20 debut for KwaZulu-Natal Inland on 13 September 2019; List A debut for Warwickshire on 10 August 2023 against Glamorgan; first-class debut for Warwickshire on 5 April 2024 against Worcestershire.
- Notable achievement: His first-class five-wicket haul came in April 2025, with 5 for 90 against Nottinghamshire.
