Menand Park Historic District
Menand Park Historic District is a national historic district in the village of Menands, Albany County, New York. It covers about 2.5 acres and includes 21 homes, all of which are houses. The district is roughly bounded by Menand Road, Broadway, and Tillinghast Avenue.
This area is notable for its collection of early 20th-century houses, built between 1913 and 1925, mainly in Bungalow and Prairie Style designs. Common features include low, sloping roofs with wide overhangs, exposed roof beams, recessed porches supported by large brick or cobblestone piers, and cobblestone or stucco chimneys.
The Vanderhyden Corp. designed the district, and it was added to the National Register of Historic Places on October 3, 1985. NRHP Reference Number: 85002708.
