Matt Pagnozzi
Matt Pagnozzi is a former American MLB catcher who played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Colorado Rockies, Pittsburgh Pirates, Houston Astros, and Milwaukee Brewers from 2009 to 2014. He batted and threw right-handed and posted a .272 batting average with 1 home run and 13 RBIs in his major league career. His last MLB appearance was September 7, 2014, with the Brewers.
Born November 10, 1982, in Miami, Arizona, Pagnozzi attended Highland High School in Gilbert, Arizona, and Central Arizona College. He was drafted by the Cardinals in the 8th round of the 2003 draft (245th overall). He started his pro career with the New Jersey Cardinals and worked up to the Memphis Redbirds (AAA) before debuting in the majors.

Personal note:
His uncle, Tom Pagnozzi, was a three-time Gold Glove-winning catcher for the Cardinals from 1987 to 1998.
