Mate Ta Love Helare
Mate Ta Love Helare is a 2008 Odia action film directed by Ashok Pati. It is a loose remake of the Telugu movie Student No. 1. The story follows Akash, a studious young man who dreams of a bright future for his mother and sister and falls in love with Megha at college. But his life changes when mafia don Bhalu Bhai and his brother King trap him. The film shows how Akash escapes, defeats the don, and wins Megha’s love. Made on a big budget with strong visuals to attract young viewers, the film released during exam season and earned only an average response at the box office. It also marks Subhashree’s film debut.
