Mary Clark was a printer and publisher in London who ran a print shop on Aldersgate Street from 1677 to 1696. The shop was started by her husband, Andrew Clark; after his death in 1677 she ran it herself, which was unusual for a woman at the time. She was aided by her manager and son-in-law, Ben Motte, who later became her successor. During her years she printed and published over 100 works, including the 4th edition of Part 2 of Abraham Cowley’s Works, printed by Charles Harper and Jacob Tonson.
