Mark Davis (born 12 August 1972) is an English professional snooker player from St Leonards, Sussex. Nicknamed “The Battler from Hastings,” he turned pro in 1991. He spent years as a steady pro, but his game improved a lot in the late 2000s and he broke into the top 16 in 2012.

His career highlights include winning the Benson & Hedges Championship in 2002 (which earned him a Masters invitation) and three Six-Red World Championship titles in 2009, 2012 and 2013. He first played at the World Championship in 1994 and won his first Crucible match in 1995 against Ken Doherty before losing to Peter Ebdon. He had a dip in form in the late 1990s but worked his way back up to the top levels.

In the 2012–13 season he reached his first ranking-event semi-final at the Wuxi Classic and later won the Six-Red World Championship again in 2013, defeating Neil Robertson. He qualified for the Masters in 2013 thanks to his top-16 ranking. His best run in a ranking final came in 2018 when he finished runner-up to Stuart Bingham at the English Open.

Davis also won the World Seniors Championship, his first televised title in the UK. As of 2 February 2026, his world ranking is 64, with a career-high of 12. He has made two maximum breaks and 295 century breaks in his career. He is married to Claire and has a son, Jack, and a daughter, Milly.
