Manubach is a small municipality in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It belongs to the Mainz-Bingen district and to the Verbandsgemeinde Rhein-Nahe, a group of villages based in Bingen am Rhein. It lies in the Rhine Gorge between Koblenz and Bad Kreuznach, on the south-facing slopes where vineyards grow.

As of December 31, 2023, about 307 people live in Manubach. The area is 7.72 square kilometers and the elevation is 160 meters. The mayor for 2019–2024 is Hans-Günter Seckler.

Manubach is part of the Rhine Gorge UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2003. The local council has eight members.

The W. O. von Horn Museum opened in 2004 in memory of a clergyman and writer. The kermis, a church consecration festival, is held in late August.

Wine has long been important here. The vineyards are on the south slopes and reflect a long winegrowing tradition. In 1960 there were 94 winegrowing businesses; today only a few wineries remain, along with a cooperative called Loreley Bacharach. A new winery started in 2001 and helped revive winegrowing.

The Gailsbach stream flows through the valley; upper parts are known as the Gunzenbach. On the north slopes there are orchards. Historically, together with Steeg, Bacharach and Diebach, Manubach was part of the Viertälergebiet, the “Four-Valley Area,” which in the 10th century was owned by the Archbishopric of Cologne.

The A61 Autobahn is about 10 kilometers away at the Rheinböllen interchange.

Postal code 55413, dialing code 06743, vehicle registration MZ.
