Mamu (river)
The Mamu is a river in Romania. It is a left tributary of the Olt River and joins the Olt through the Oporelu Canal in Colibași. The river is about 35 kilometers long and drains a basin of around 107 square kilometers. It flows through Vâlcea and Olt counties, near the villages of Fumureni, Lungești, and Strejești. Its left tributary is the Silea and its right tributary is the Cernișor. The water from the Mamu eventually reaches the Black Sea via Oporelu Canal → Olt → Danube → Black Sea.
