Louis Labeyrie
Louis Labeyrie (born 11 February 1992) is a French basketball player for Gran Canaria in Spain’s Liga ACB. He is a 6'10" power forward/center known for his size and defense.
He began his pro career in France with Fos Provence Basket (2008–2011) and Hyères-Toulon (2011–2012), then spent five seasons with Paris-Levallois (2012–2017). He played for SIG Strasbourg in 2017–2018, then joined Valencia Basket (2018–2022). He played for UNICS Kazan (2022–2025) before moving to Gran Canaria in 2025.
Labeyrie was drafted in 2014, 57th overall by the Indiana Pacers and was traded to the New York Knicks on draft night. His draft rights later moved to the Los Angeles Lakers in January 2022 as part of a three-team deal.
Career highlights include EuroCup champion (2019), BCL Star Lineup Best Team (2018), Pro A Sixth Man of the Year (2017), and two French Cup titles (2013, 2018). He is also a medalist with France at the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China.
