Lorenzo Centurione
Lorenzo Centurione (1645–1735) was the 143rd Doge of the Republic of Genoa and, during his term, the king of Corsica. He was elected by the Grand Council on 26 September 1715 for a two-year term that ended on 26 September 1717. He was the 98th Doge in the two-year cycle and the 143rd in Genoa’s history. He followed Giovanni Antonio Giustiniani and was succeeded by Benedetto Viale.
Centurione was born in Genoa in 1645 and died there in 1735, at about 90 years old. After his term as doge, he held other public offices.
